Jewelry Design and Repair
Our in-house Master Jeweler, Mark Sparks, has over 30 years experience on the bench, including manufacturing and laser certification. From simple maintenance for your favorite jewelery to rejuvenating your most treasured pieces, our design and repair department maintains a high level of craftsmenship. Creating custom jewelry is one of our specialities at Young Jewelers. For estimates please call or visit our brick and mortar in historic downtown Jasper, Alabama.
Ring Sizing
We offer ring sizing in platinum, karat gold and sterling silver. Free estimates are provided prior to sizing. Our in-house jeweler will provide this service on the premise. We offer complimentary sizing (up to two sizes) when you purchase your ring. If you need additional sizing, we give you the estimate before we size.
Watch Repair
Watch battery replacement is done in-house on most watches. Watch maintenance estimates are given prior to repair. Some watches must be sent to our outside repair vendor.
Eye Glass Repair
We have the ablity to repair most types of eyeglasses using our in-house laser welder.
Engraving
Our in-house engraver will be delighted to engrave and personalize any jewelry piece or most gift items. Please call and ask our expert engraver for advice on sizing and font options available. This service is performed by machine.
Corporate Awards, Plaques and Ribbons
Personalized awards, plaques and ribbons are avaliable in store and upon request.
Pearl / Bead Restringing
Young Jewelers will custom-string your necklaces or bracelets and will always clean your jewelry before restringing. This can be done in many different styles. Designer clasps and pearl dividers are available to customize your pearl wardrobe.
Bridal Registry
We are the only jewelry store in Jasper, Alabama with a full bridal registry. Our experienced sales team has assisted brides in selecting the perfect china, silver and crystal patterns or accesory items for their new homes. Herend, Vietri, Juliska, Lenox and Waterford are just a few of the exquisite lines represented and our more comprehensive selection ranges from traditional to the more modern contemporary.
Gift Wrapping
Our gift wrapping is complimentary for our Young Jewelers' customers on regular priced merchandise.
Appraisals
Young Jewelers, Inc. will be happy to furnish a free appraisal for any item purchased in our store. Appraisals are performed by our Certified Gemologists trained by the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Please contact us for additional information.
Policies
Layaway
Young Jewelers has a flexible layaway plan for any item you desire. We do require an initial 10-20% deposit of the total purchase. The payments thereafter may be made at your convenience in accordance to the terms. Alterations & adjustments, such as ring sizing, will be made at balance payoff. Most can be done within one week. Expired layaways will receive an in-store credit for the monetary amount received.

Gift Certificates
We offer gift certificates in any monetary amount. When buying a gift certificate no sales tax is charged. The appropriate sales tax will be allocated at the time of redemption. As with the vast majority of retailers, it is the recipients responsibility to keep track of gift certificate.
Processing, Shipping and Handling
We try and ship all orders within 24 hours of receipt, excluding federal holidays. If the order is placed before 3 p.m. CDT Monday- Friday, we will ship that day. Orders received over the weekend will be shipped Monday.
Sales Tax
Sales tax is automatically applied to your www.youngjewelers.com order in accordance with Alabama state regulations. If the shipping zip code is located outside of Alabama you will automatically be exempt from Alabama state tax.
Pricing Policy
Young Jewelers,Inc. makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of the information and prices listed, but mistakes and typographical errors can occur. Our vendors frequently undergo price changes, so we will do our absolute best to stay current. If the price changes before it is reflected online, we will honor what you see online at the time of purchase, however, we do reserve the right to correct those errors and apologize for any inconvenience.
Returns & Exchanges
Most Returns & exchanges are accepted within 30 days of purchase. Certain special orders and altered items may be non-returnable and/or subject to restocking fees. All returns must be "in new condition" and accompanied by your original receipt.

Refunds
Exchanges or credits can be made within 30 days of purchase. No refunds.
Out of Stock
Our website inventory updates daily. Should the item(s) that you purchase through www.youngjewelers.com be out of stock, we will contact you within 24 hours of the time of purchase to inquire about your preference on how to proceed.
Custom Work
All custom jewelry is nonrefundable and requires a 25% deposit before the work begins. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client’s complete satisfaction.
